Default DrNick crossing the Atlantic!

For some of the old-guard here...

A couple years ago DrNick sold his 928s to finance a trip in a sailboat around the world. He found a 50' Feres just outside of Detroit and has been working on getting it outfitted for the journey.

DrNick, Michelle, and crew set sail around July 1 from Detroit heading through the Great Lakes and up the St. Lawrence. This past Monday they left from St. John's Newfoundland, Canada and are heading for the UK. The final destination is Auckland, N.Z.!

If you are interested you can follow the adventures on Facebook. The name is "Taniwha Feres" (http://www.facebook.com/taniwha.frers)

You can also follow a map at http://share.delorme.com/?MapId=5fd1...30c779768a3672 You should be able to get the password off facebook.

In case you can't here's the latest map.

Thanks for posting that Andrew. Is it just the two of them crewing - I assume there are more?

928 content - he used to own a rather special one

This is Nick celebrating after a fast Nurburgring lap, 2007.

I believe they have three others along for a total of five crew.

Nick is the reason I have my Devek LII headers. He bought them here in the US for the orange car. I offered to handle the transaction and hold them here for the next time he came over. (I think he was thinking of taking them back as luggage.)

Then he sold the cars. Well I couldn't just let them sit in my basement, could I? So thanks to Nick, my car now has amazing exhaust!

Here's the link to his orange car build! https://rennlist.com/forums/928-foru...range-car.html
