Default Which 928 logo do you like?

I'm going to make some vinyl "928" decals - to either use on the backs of cars, or large as wall art, or for whatever you want!

What style do people like more? I haven't come across a real 928 logo - that I can determine is factory - so I made my own.

The top, skinny style or the bottom, fatter style?

Bottom version hands down! The top one just doesn't cut it for me, doesn't "read" right with that font.

If it's btw the two, the bottom one. But something is wrong about either its aspect ration, or something.

I've traced the original 928 logo, in vector graphics. You can have it, just pm me your email.

The bottom is very 70's but the top seems more appropriate to the 928.

It's the radius of the inner shapes. That radius should be proportionally smaller than the outer radius.

Both wrong; not ugly, but not good either.
Good luck,

Neither, but bottom if I had to choose from the two.

Go to AO's sig and check out how the manual covers changed over the years.

Ahh, that's helpful, too! And I see there are lots of different ones. I'll start with what Jim has - which is the early style, and then go from there. I can do the S4/GT and GTS logos separately.

As for what's on the manuals of the 928S, Porsche was smoking crack those years...

Have you thought about a small engine displacement sticker to go with it? I.e., 4.7L, 5.0L, 5.4L, etc. Bonus points if the 5.4L was raised letters like the ones on the GTS.
