Default '81 Euro S in Dallas-$2200

This was posted earlier on Pelican. Seller sent me the VIN WP0ZZZ92ZBS840528

'81 Euro S

Considered having one of the Dallas crew take a look for me but have decided I just don't have the time or space. Could be a good start for someone.

Looked like more than I have time or space to tackle. But if the bones are good.....

That car looks sad. I don't just mean in bad shape, in the third picture it actually looks sad, like depressed.

What's the top of the restored 81 Euro market? $8k? Above that would need to be really special. So - I see $8k in work/materials in three pics.

Partz.

If the powertrain is sound that would be a great track car. 300 hp, manual, maybe LSD if you are lucky!

Track car was my first thought too. Unfortunately not at a point where a track car is in the cards.

It's driving distance from me, but I'm renting a room for the few months I'm in Oklahoma, so there's no place for a non- or intermittently-running car.

Occurs to me it'd make a nice rat, too...

Any luck on engine ID?? I think that would be helpful at any price.
