David I have a long torso, short legs, short arms, and oversized head Not uncommon on this forum. Even with very low nearly unpadded race seats my headliner is nearly worn through from my helmet rubbing against the roof ! And the old very brown 1980 has no stupid sunroof.

I know, but from my memory of meeting you at the Frenzy years ago, Leonard made both of us look like little kids...:-)

Oh, and no helmet is needed to "drive " a 928, just track it...unless Ca has really gone off the deep end..LOL

Oh, California went off the deep end years ago and will continue submerged forever.

Guys, it is possible that this could be a scam. The dude could have taken the craigs list photos and created an ebay scam. I love the car but would be scared to bid on it without someone I know looking at it in person.

Hope someone didn't get burned,

I am 6'1" with about 30" inseam. I thought I had it bad lol! The long torso makes it tough with the sunroof.

James, Cosmo,

Are either of you Italian?

Anyone else on here old enough to remember the usual sports car mag complaints about cars designed for "the usual Italian ape"?

Agree. But post pics where? So far no one here as confessed involvement.

I for one would like to know if it was a scam or not. The pics represented a beautiful car and if it is real, that was a good price.

He priced it right and it sold. Unlike this guy who's been trying for over a year: http://boston.craigslist.org/gbs/cto/3163786901.html

Big difference in mileage explains the price differences imo. Plus porsche red does not age well, even though the guy claims it was garage kept its entire life.

For a euro 928 to sell that fast for what is called a good price (though really a steal for what you get) it must have been someone who is not new to these cars, so I would not be surprised to see it show up here. Especially when the first hiccup happens.

The Market doesn't lie: $15K yes, $19K, no.
