Horns. We have horns? I have one wimpy horn underneath the passenger side side marker. Is there another and where is it. Thanks

There should be two horns, in series, in the R wheel well. One higher, and one lower frequency.

Maybe that is why it sounds so wimpy.
Get a new set. When you install them have their trumpet facing DOWN so water won't pool in it.

The one that is there isnt a trumpet style. More of a round style

Yes, but there is an opening of the sound resonating chamber to which water can get in if positioned vulnerably.

Want to start with a huge thank you to medipedicman, you are a cool cat to send that part so fast in the mail. I installed your assembly and now the horn works great. only bummer is when i complete a turn the signal does not turn off automatically as before...

I had a question on two things:

1. while taking things apart i see something with wires that was tucked in there but obviously is used for something. Looks almost like a large switch that would the driver would use, but off hand I can't see why it is taped up and not being used. My fog lights don't work, maybe it is related to that. Headlight adjuster for euro ? not sure but i have included a pic

Everyone should check their steering shaft universals I have had two cars with them loose I check all the cars I work on now.....
2. universal as in a fitting or bearings? mine feel slightly loose, it doesn't seem dangerous while driving, no real play in the wheel while driving, the wheel and shaft just seems to have slight up and down play at the pod, or is this normal to have slightness since the pod goes up and down?. Is this expensive or a big deal to get further to this area if in fact i need to replace?

thank you very much for all the ideas and suggestions.

92 ROW GTS, horn is U/S. I have similar open circuit down the steering column, and have learned all about conductive grease. Lower steering shaft double U-Joint is tight, middle anti-Vibe rag joint is tight, but I can feel play, seems to be in upper steering shaft U-Joint.

Question, where and how does one tighten the upper steering shaft flex joint located beneath power brake booster?

All replies appreciated. Thx/Tim

Horns are functional, as is the path through steering wheel slip ring. The required ground through the steering column is intermittent. I suspect the intermittent occurs through the axis of the upper steering shaft U-joint. Lower joints are tight. That's why I am wondering where/how to inspect and tighten the upper steering shaft U-joint....maybe....I could be all wrong on this perception. Thx / T
