Thank you everybody!
Unfortunately Tom I'm not skilled enough to turn my own but from the extensive reading I've done I expect the costs to be in line with the 928
Thank you will make good reading
Yep we haven't done a Carlsbad cars n coffee in at least a year.
Hopefully those two bikini girls will show
Good one. I'm growing a stash as we speak
GTO's are going for about the same as F40 now. Crazy money
WSM pdf etc is available from Cannell web page.

VERY NICE!!! Always love the 308/328...just thought they looked *RIGHT* for some reason. 288GTO is even better, but we didn't officially get any of those here. I guess they are old enough now to import w/o EPA/DOT issues though! I should probably buy one! LOL! If I sold every 928 I own I still couldn't afford one!

I took a buddy for a ride in both back to back. He said he preferred the 928.
I would prefer the 928 for longer journeys. The 328 is great for quick fun but can be tiresome after a bit. The steering is super direct (manual). Truly drives like a go cart. Love the seating position. The biggest surprise is how rigid the chassis is. Whole car is very solid. Was expecting something less from an 80's Italian so that was a great surprise. Biggest point is the sound!!
Gets a ton of attention for 25 year old car.
Dig the attached pic

288GTO = F40 money?! WOW! Didn't see that one coming! That IS crazy money, but you have to admit, the 288 is MUCH prettier than an F40!
BTW, I wasn't paying close enough attention and thought yours was a 308 for some reason... Love the 328's every bit as much!

Erkka, is there ANY built number VIN that you DON'T know something about?! WOW! I knew not many 288's were built, but I also thought there were very few F40's as well, and I guess that is true, but still WAY FEWER 288's! Very interesting!

wow Lonnie!
How many hours do you think you have into it?
Looks complete next to the shark. Is it done or still in progress?
Someone wasn't to kind to her. Nice of you to bring her back.
