I have AL bushings on my GTS. I really didn't think that I needed to replace the stock bushings at the time, but I am certainly glad that I did. The steering is so tight and crisp post change. I love the way the car handles.

I haven't worked on this part of my car, so admit that I don't understand how this all works. Can anyone elaborate on how suspension sag affects the rack so that it is felt at the steering wheel?

Many 928s are too low from sagging. They drive best at the lower end of the allowable ride heights. Adjusting ride height requires realignment, so best to do everything at once, roughly align at home, drive twenty-five miles and get a good alignment (without lifting).

Wally,

Many will say these are the same. Do you not agree?

Makes me wonder, my steering rack is close to brand new having replaced it around 6 months ago. Thus it has new bushings, would changing to delrin or aluminum still yield an improvement considering mine are brand new?

Might make a small difference but it would not be worth the pain in the *** it is to take out new bushings.
