YES! It's actually exhaustive and not very interesting truthfully. In short it was 5 days of classroom training in A GORGEOUS RESORT and a follow up interview at the dealership a few months later.
Thanks Stan
A 2 door Panamera is apparently in the works sometime after the current models refreshed or possibly when the GEN II Panamera arrives. I would say that It will be similar to the 928 in the fact that it's got a V8 up front and 2 doors, but I don't think Porsche will ever build as unique a car as the 928. With the platform sharing thats now commonplace I don't think you can justify the cost of truly re-imagining the 928 concept. There will likely be a car from Porsche in that segment, but it won't be a new 928, I think there's only one 9ine 2wo 8ight.
Thanks Sean, hope all is well in Texas. The past few days here have reminded me of those Texas summers... DAMN IT'S HOT TODAY!
Born and raised in CA with stops in New York and Texas.
If I can get to the next Sharktoberfest i'll be there. Maybe I can bring an interesting car to demo for you guys as well.
I wish I had a 928 GTS available. The every time I visit our shop I see at least one 928 and we've got a GTS floating around. I haven't owned a 928 in about 3 years now and I remember looking at the interior and being transported back to the future, the 928 has such an amazing and timeless interior! It made me really miss it.
It's fun, I'm working with a brand I absolutely believe in so that makes sales fun.
Glad to hear about the LSD
Bob,
Great to hear from you and thanks for the friendly introduction, much appreciated! If you're still having clinics you'll have to let me know I'd really love to stop by and help. I did my first wrenching on 928's at Bob's event way back when and thanks to the help of this board I went through 4 928's and in the process serviced every single aspect of the car!
I typically work on Saturdays (off Sundays) but if I know there's a Timing Belt Party THEN I'LL FIND A WAY TO GET THERE! I always enjoyed your help and would love to have you stop by the dealership sometime and I can show you around (Just make sure it's not Sunday or Wednesday)
To have a place to go to work that you enjoy and to be surrounded by these cars is a real treat for me. I'm a firm believer in doing something that you love and I'm lucky enough to be doing it now.
Glad to be back. Truthfully I haven't had a 928 available to sell from BH Porsche but I still stop by from time to time to say hello and check in on how you guys are continuing to develop the 928.
THIS FORUM ROCKS!

Welcome, Ryan. Are you from Denver, by chance, perhaps from Prestige Porsche? Congratulations on your Brand Ambassador Certification. I myself and a couple of others on the Rennlist are FBA Certified which relates to the things that we fabricate for the Porsche 928.
Hope to see you at some of the 928 Events. Maybe at Sharktoberfest in October?

Hi Ryan and welcome back!
For those who may not remember Ryan, he started out in the 928 world here in the LA area, moved to Austin for a while, and is now back in Los Angeles for several years now. The last few years he has been at Beverly Hills Porsche. His personal RL ID is "Ryan Perella" IIRC. Car history includes several in the GT and S4 category, with lots of recovery/restoration work on them. He's been here at the house working in them, and I've been to his house working on them. He certainly has a love and appreciation for the cars and the people who own them.

For those looking for service in the Bh area i highly recommend them. Charley knows 928's. I think he has over 200k miles on one of his 928's and he put on most of them.

Welcome back, Ryan. It looks like you have been an asset to this Forum in the past and that you are going to be again. I hope to see/meet you in Anaheim. Interesting about Charlie's GTS. I wonder if he is going to pay it foreward in some way. Maybe the Hedrick Family Charity Auction?

I believe there are also pair of early S4's in one of our yards and one of them hasn't moved in 2 years.
