I'm taking the mechanical fan off my 79, is it documented anywhere what size belt I need just for the power steering?

Tired one off an S4, way too big.

Yes I did a search, please post a link if I failed........

Umm, don't not think power steering was tied into the fan on a 79?

Think it is the air pump and fan because when i deleted my air pump I had to go to a short belt to drive the fan only. I ultimately ditched the mechanical fan for dual electrics.

Perhaps that is why search is not returning results.

Good point, air pump has been off this car for a couple of decades....... fan & PS were on the same belt.

Derp.....so I just need the off the shelf PS belt.

It has been a while since I did the same to my 81.
