Default Has anyone got any rear aircon pipework pictures??

AS title really... interested in any under car pipe run pictures especially the front branch by firewall and where they go through the body underneath??

To the rear of the engine compartment:



Ignore the fuel line labels in this pic, you can see the high side and low side connections at the firewall here:



Another view, from the rear:



Lines underneath at the bulkhead:



Lines inside at the bulkhead and solenoid:



Lines at the rear evaporator:

Hi Colin

Actually just about all rob posted. Im going to put rear air in my white car, for no pressing reason but that i want to I am going to make up the pipework myself under the car and wanted to know what was required to get to the rear unit ( i've got this) and what controls i need to source, solenoid valve etc

Geoff-

Just to play devil's advocate, how many days a year do you need dual A/C in the UK? I'm all about slightly mad 928 projects, just curious as to the hassle/perceived benefit ratio here.

Good for keeping humidity down/defogging. Pile in wet people...crank up some dry air in the back.

During my 4 months of 85" of rain a year, I need it a lot.

Hi Rob

Good shout! but being a *^"!head im all about work for no benefit you havnt seen the rest of the car yet have you you do need aircon on full during all of the British summer, but for the other 363 days its probably fine with just the front working

Very handy for this, but..............its so long since i drove a 928 i cant remember
