Default Looking For A Set Of Wheels For My 86 928S

I've seen some wheels described as twists and also some very sharp 5 spoke wheels on cars pictured here. Currently running Fittapaldi 5 star type wheel with brand new Michelin Pilots so would like to stick with 16" wheels.

Is that the correct D90 on the front right???? Looks like it is sticking out and is a match for the rear... Might just be the pic though. Should be a 7.5" on the front and a 9" on the rear...will have 7.5 stamped next to the valve stem on two of the wheels and 9 stamped next to the stem on the other two wheels.

Hi James,
I will check your inquiry tonite when I get home...but I think all 4 are the same sizing...as the other side on front looks the same and I was advised to use a 21mm spacer for offset on the rears...but I haven't added spacers yet.
All four are stamped 8 next to the valve stems Jim.....probably why It was recommended to add the spacers...

I have a set of chrome 16" manhole covers in real nice shape if you're interested.

I stripped off the anodized finish on my '84 manhole covers. I painted two with a Chrysler silver paint. It looks okay but nothing to get excited about. I plan on trying Plasti-Dip on them, most likely a black. If I don't like it, I'll polish them.

I wonder if these are all 4 rears off a 911??? The D90 928 wheels were 7.5" front and 9" rear... I don't think you could put the 9" on the front of a 928 either. I do like the thought of matching 8" front and rear though...better balance and grip that you might get from 7" as you should be able to fit wider tires... Rather have matching 9" front and rear though...that would be even better!

Yes, I beleive that is what they said they came off of. THe car handles well but I do plan on trying the spacers shortly on the rears to see if it has any effect on handling and looks. They were given to me in trade for a radiator for a 928 that I had by fellow Rennlister NEIN28 up here in VT.
