911 Rally Car Build - eBay Motors Build-off
Hey all my Porsche Brethren! We need your vote!!!
Our shop is competing in a build-off sponsored by eBay Motors. We are partnered with European Car magazine. Our build is a 1984 911 rally car. Our competitors are an El Camino (partnered with lowrider magazine), Jeepster (partnered with Four Wheeler magazine) and a 60's van (partnered with Hot Rod magazine).
We are competing for bragging rights but all cars will be sold on eBay and proceeds will be donated to charity. We have selected a children's charity who works through SEMA -raising money for abused children. So, it's a great cause.
The build episodes are airing on www.builtfromebay.com. You can vote for each episode as you are viewing it. Right now we are sort of getting spanked because of the domestic love out there for our competitors.
Porsche enthusiasts unite! Check it out, share, tweet, facebook, whatever - let's not let those lowrider fans out social network us.
Thanks for your support. By all means if anyone wants to see the build please feel free to come by the shop. Our 8 week deadline ends this Wednesday. We will also try to bring it by the next SoCal PCA Breakfast Meeting.
