Pimp taste isn't sophisticated enough to get a 928... they go for lowered S10's sitting on "spinnerz dawg!!!", lowered Escalades (please tell me the point of lowering a 4 wheel drive vehicle) etc.

Is anyone near this car and would be willing to take a good look at it for me?

They get sold at the wholesale auctions where new car dealers unload cars which they do not wish to resell on their own lots. All this guy had to do was raise his hand. Happens rather often.

Brett, I would never jump in front of anyone but if you find anything out and decide to pass let me know. It does not look bad at all. Not a fan of the color but I think some wheels would doll it up nicely.

Actually, depends on where you are. In parts of Europe, the 928 is known as a "Zuhälterauto," i.e. car for pimps...

I wonder if that means that European pimps are more sophisticated than American pimps? :-)

I've been looking at Cassisrot cars for a long time. I just bought a 968 so this one will have to pass on, but I think someone with about $6k in cashola could drive away with it. It has M220 LSD. All the other typical options but not sport shocks. Exterior/interior looks rather nice but I'm guessing plenty of cracks under that dash mat. Still, not a bad starting place if one likes cassisrot(and I really do).....

Hey I like this colour combo and especially like the exterior colour. Its called Cassirot Metallic or Cassis Red Metallic (Porsche Colour 80D and only available in S4 and MY 87 + 88 only). It looks like a light pearl pink and presents differing shades of the pink depending on lighting conditions.

Cheers

This wheel swap is not an uncommon thing. A friend bought an S4 with one rear wheel on the front. The alignment shop missed the difference and said they could not align it. Sure handled strange in a curve.

It's a note lot. That car will be sold for twice it's worth and repo'd several times and resold until it becomes worthless.
