Default Removing/Replacing Throw out Bearing/Arm?

Posting from my phone.

Installing new clutch components in a lister's 79. How do I remove and replace the retaining ring/clip? Is a press required?

Thanks for your help. Michael

get a small piece of 2x4 about 3 inches long,
put the rear side of the TOB on it then press down the front edge of the tob collar
and with a little pick slide it under the retaining snap ring,
remove the ring

Removing throw-out bearing from pressure plate or the actual bearing inside the throw-out bearing assembly?
