I wanted to put these on my S4, but sadly I've decided to sell my first 928 it due to lack of space

- Camshaft 1-4 Intake - 928-105-271-0 R

- Camshaft 1-4 Exhaust - 928-105-273-0 R

- Camshaft 5-8 Intake - 928-105-272-0 R

I don't have the last one unfortunately

These were still in the original packaging but I removed them to inspect for rust or anything else and they are in perfect condition. However Camshaft 5-8 Intake - 928-105-272-00 has the slightest surface corrosion on the ends, (see the last 2 pictures) Other than that there is not a scratch, knock or nick on them, and the lobes are still perfect.


They're about $1200 each on Pelican, but I'll take $900 for the lot. Or if one of our vendors want them, I'll trade for store credit I'll sell them separately if required, let me know - $300 each

I can get FedEx Staff Rates on priority international, so they'll be at your door step in three days for a fraction of the original shipping cost. I'll ship anywhere! I'll package them very carefully, with alot of padding, just like they originally were.

Hey Phil, were these for your 89 or the 93 and I have to ask, why only 3?

assuming that they are stock and not GT cams?

If the 1-4 Intake cam is really 928 105 271 01, then it's a GT cam. The other two are S4 cams. $1214 new, from Porsche. It's the 274 01 5-8 exhaust GT cam that is NLA.

I don't recall hearing that pitting is an issue on S4 cams. Is it? Just curious.

Brad, these were for the 89, so they would be perfect for you. I wish they were GT cams but they are only stock S4. I got these from a guy in the UK, he got it from a garage that was shutting down, so I'm not sure why they only had 3, a bit weird. I reckon the other one went missing.

Rob, I misread it, it was an R. Yeh I have only seen the cams of 2 S4's, and they both had minor, but visible pitting in the lobes.

I've seen two sets of S4 cams ('88's) that had pitting, and one set that had none!!! About the same mileage on the engines, and no reason to believe oil service history was significantly different on the three engines.
