Wiring loom question
hi
i have removed the sleeving from the wiring loom in the engine compartment ( 14 pin plug and headlights etc) because it was manky and some of it was hard. i have cleaned all the wires ( surprising how dirt oil and stuff) get inside!) and im going to replace all connectors on the loom and re shrink wrap them. All the individual wires seem o.k. to me, some are a bit hard (not so bendy) on the ends. Is there any need to replace all the wires....thaughts???
TIA
Geoff

Unless the wire is corroded under the shiething then there is no reason to replace it.
In the front of engine harness you have a large yellow lead which runs from the 14 pin connector to the starter. I would replace this wire if it's all apart.

Not sure on my next trip though, but I'll be sure to let you know as soon as I do.
If that harness is new, then you're good to go. Unfortunately that yellow wire in that harness is the first to go, and on many is already gone.
