Hey Bilal,
Thanks for the quick response.
I can't get the car started. Bought it on Mother's Day and had it towed home as I bought it in non running condition. Got it started, ran like crap, never got a chance to drive it as of yet due to it's issues. It's been a battle ever since.

Wow, I used to live about 10 miles from WC! There was a guy in Hairyman named Bill Haupt who ran a shop called Hauptstrasse Motors on Maple St. I believe he is now working for Audi in NJ, but I haven't spoken with him in about 7 years. He was a good 928 mechanic and may still do sideline work? You might drive by and see if the shop is still there and if there are any recent phone numbers.

Harriman, lol I know Bill. He doesn't do any side work anymore. He now leases his shop to a friend of mine that knows Porsche's to a degree but is really a BMW specialist. I thought Bill was an Audi specialist?

I am not that far away, 60 odd miles, but not sure when I can get up there...

Can you describe the situation?

Nick, if you can, read my other post about CE Clicking. It gives a better play by play as to where I am at and what has been done.
Thanks,
Anthony

Yes, the car came from Queens, but is definitely a Long Island car originally as I found a "European Motor Works Corp" sticker in the trunk from an old oil change done back in 2000. The address is/was 89 East Main Street, Huntington, NY 11743
I called and they are not in business any longer. I have no service history on this car and wish I did. I know the car was sold by PAR Porsche in New Rochelle to someone in the Bronx (Riverdale), I spoke to him and then he sold it to the person I bought it from in Elmont, Queens...

Sounds like you need a good 928 mechanic to get you to square one.

I got the car running today. Fixed the three wires going to the Crank Position Sensor on the HARNESS side and replaced the "Test" relay and she fired right up. I would still welcome someone with 928 experience to help me fine tune the car. I can keep the Pizza/BBQ & liquid flowing all day!
