Default Motor mounts

Does anyone know the Volvo part # for the motor mounts that are compatable?
Is that the best replacement choice?

If I told you then I would have to kill you 8>)

They will probably cost twice as much locally and unlikly to have them in stock.

They come in a plain brown bag, no markings that would tip off your SO that it contains 928 **** parts.

Overnight ship may be less than local supply, plus from Roger they come with the right hardware you'll need for installation.

Default Volvo mounts

they seem like a bit of a challenge to install correctly.
Just from reading old posts it looks like something I would not attempt if not 100 percent necessary.

I just put them in my 84.

The only problem I had was putting the cross member back on.. You have to leave one mount on the crossmember and one on the engine..

Roger sent me this link with Mr Merlin's steps on putting the mounts in, but I lost it. I later found it again and it worked perfectly.

Here it is:

And don't worry about sitting under a 700 lb motor being suspended over you.

I couldn't see how it would be any more difficult than the original mounts, I just did these a couple of weeks ago and it wasn't that difficult. Way easier than expected, I think they do drag on about things a little sometimes on this forum...

They are a little taller than the originals, tiny mod to part of the mount brackets as detailed elsewhere. Otherwise not much different from Porsche pieces as far as amount of work. Way lower purchase cost vs. Porsche parts. The Volvo parts appear to be very well made.
