The switch cantacts can get hot enough to melt plastic and things can move around inside the switch causing partial operation.
Sometimes you can get lucky taking the switch apart and revive it for a couple more years of duty. However, be very careful doing so. I suggest disassembly in a large clear plastic bag, that way you should contain the parts that “fly out” of the switch and you will at least have a chance at seeing where the “fly” from.
In the mean time, apply 12V to the wires on 1 and 2 of the switch and the window should move. Reverse voltage to move window the other direction.

Use this link to help with the simple repair of the switches. The paring down of the plastic and adjusting of the contact parts will make them feel like new. I did this 3 years ago and they still feel like new. http://members.rennlist.com/v1uhoh/windowSW.htm

FWIW usually the reason the switches go bad in the first place is extra drag on the motor SO to reduce this get a light put the window down working in a dark garage shine the light into the door , locate the window arm pivot point drip oil onto the pivot shaft do this a few times every few days the pivot shaft will free up and the window will again work faster.
The other thing to repair is the window motor they can get gummed up and run slower the motor can be removed and the motor cleaned out and lubricated ,
this will when combined with the pivoot lube result in a faster window operation and reduced wear on the switches
