Ive searched the DIY archive and dwaynesgarage.com and didnt see one for head gaskets. Have I missed it or is there somewhere else I can look?

I don’t recall ever seeing a DIY thread; but, it has been discussed many times. Usually starts with “do I have to pull the engine” and goes from there. Recommend a search in the 928 forum for: "head" AND "gasket" AND "86" AND "pull" I think it will get you 80% of the way there.

exactly, note it's not the head gadgets it's all the other things like new studs, intake seals. The big debate on torque plus two or three 90's.
Oh and yes you need to pull the engine as the 85/86 uses the stronger studs and not bolts.
