Rear wiper question

Should the rear wiper on an 83 have one spring or two? Mine only has one and does not like to stay up when washing. It looks like it should have two to me.

My 82 only has one also. I belive that they are ment to hold down to the glass more than anything.

Same on the '84. I am always afraid it will slam against the glass when I wash the car...

If you have an S4/GTS type spoiler - you can't lift it up anyway (at least only just enough to wash underneath).
