Karl, You should see if the Hawaii 5-O production company is in need of a special character car for one of their good guys or bad guys. I mean this. Could pay a tidy some for something so unique and would stand out well on the screen.

Sorry, just had to bump this gorgeous coral red car, images in post #1.
I absolutely LOVE this color on the 928.

Very nice all the best with it.
So do you have the cell phone option? I don't see the antenna on the windshield? Do you have this arm rest. Mine opens but it holds nothing more than sunglasses if not too large. I kept my phone but I have the battery removed and in storage. I was always concerned it might leak and cause damage. I would consider doing the same if it is still in place.
Enjoy the ride.

A couple of responses here. Dan, I agree with you, saw Karl's car 'up close and personal' in Honolulu about 3 years ago. It is a gorgeous car. One of the nicest colors - especially being located so so close to the coral reefs of our 50th state.
Cobalt - I had that small glove box with the mobile phone option in the '94 GTS I bought. I needed a large glove box more than I needed the uniqueness of that 'option'. Thus, I traded it to Roger Tyson, got a standard box and had Paul Champagne do his 'magic' of increasing the size by about 4X. Probably the best modification I made on the car during 9 years of ownership.
Cheers from the middle of the Rhone river, just leaving Vienne France,

Story Continues
I'm Karl's neighbor in So Cal. In fact right across from him in a tiny street up a hill. Just about a month ago, I saw him in his carport as I got home. We chatted and caught up a bit. Then, the conversation turned to about 928's. I had an 84 Euro ages ago myself. I told Karl that I had been browsing around for 928's. I asked about his GTS, and he told me it was sold. (Bummer!) And I asked when it was sold, and he said just a week before to someone in Texas. (More bummer!) He told me the car was in fact on its way from Hawaii to Long Beach. It was planned to complete the transaction at Sharktoberfest when he'd meet the buyer. So, the next day, we drove down to Long Beach to pick up the car and I saw this beauty the first time. I drove the car back to our block. After searching for 928 (GTS particularly) for a long time, the most unique one showed up across the street of me where I could actually see through my kitchen window. I had to do something and I did something. We worked out with the original buyer and he graciously allowed me to have the privilege to take care of this unique, beautiful car. Now, the Coral Red GTS is Mine! Mine! Mine!

Congrats and welcome to the List. Karl is a great steward of his cars and I saw the Coral GTS a few years ago when I lived on Kauai. Simply one of the most unique and beautiful colors. SoCal has geat resources too.

Congratulations, k.c.! This is a very unique and beautiful example of the 928, and being in Southern California gives you easy access to the most skilled technician (Greg Brown) who could work on it when needed.

Congrats! Now that they're on the same continent, time for a Coral Red Club photo shoot! Anyone know who bough that ultra low mile Coral Red S4 off Ebay back in 2013?
