Moment of truth - Lizard is stopping by to check her out this afternoon. Hope he will post his findings here good or bad.
Two choices - 1) can the AC be brought back to life and is she drivable 2500 miles = long weekend with my bride seeing some more of our great country.
2) No go - and can she drive onto a transporter.

The car is cosmetically beautiful with very very few flaws.

Shifter bushings are toast,
TT has noise,
Alternator not charging,
Plug 8 has some loose junk and lots of carbon compared to others,
Lots of oil on lower air filter box,
Car wouldn't crank till I removed all plugs, but nothing came out of the cylinders,
Passenger window switch requires replacement,
Everything else is pretty nice but with what it needs I suggested transporting it as getting it north of the line for work is tricky and a pita for parts when he already has them there!

Very nice Roger ... good to see after all this time you're beginning to 'see the light'....

Here's an article I found to help you get through that initial grinding and bunny hopping phase ....... I've highlighted a few important sections .... you're welcome
