Purchased tickets (for me and my brother-in-law) for Friday and Saturday. Also bought the Porsche Platz Corral pass. So I'll see you there!
Should be a another great race weekend in Baltimore!
Who else is going?

Thanks Manny. Yes, the BGP is being thrown together, it seems; hopefully there's enough resources/supplies available from last year that it gets done in time, and properly. Last year was a great event, but sadly marred by a troubled aftermath.
Good to know about the Platz tiers. I'd heard rumors otherwise. That's why they are called rumors and not "truths"!
As far as the laps... that's unfortunate. The workers shouldn't have been out there if cars were going to be driving by, or vice versa. Obviously the repairs needed to be done for the racers' safety, and the workers should not have had to have been looking over their shoulder while doing their jobs. I guess the organizers did not count on having to repair the course when they allowed the laps to begin with.

Awesome. So I didn't need to purchase the $100 Porsche Platz ticket? Seriously?

Bob, I assume the Platz ticket you purchased includes parking for your shark in the Corral. What Tom is talking about is that you can "enter" the Platz on foot (which is a tent with tables, presentations, etc) only if you provide proof of ownership/membership. Car Corral parking and site admission was free last year only if you volunteered to sit at the Platz desk/otherwise help out around the Platz.

Seating Choices
What grandstand are PCA folks sitting in?
There does not seem to be a specific one for the Corral participants like last year. In fact, grandstand 20 from last year is not present for this year.
I have my Corral ticket, just need to nail down a grandstand for Saturday.

It appears that it's only a 2 day corral.
Not a good deal for us out of towners who will have to move our cars Saturday evening after partying all day, not to mention the extra $25 to park at the hotel Saturday night.
Since they're allowing Porsche owners foot access to the corral, it's a better deal to park at the hotel for $75 for 3 nights and still get access to the tent and whatever, and not have to drive after a day of festivities.
And no food? So what's the $100 for?
Not that I don't want to spend the money, but I should at least be enjoying some convenience or benefit.
Am I off base here?

I picked up tickets for Friday and Saturday. Now I need to figure out where to park.
Guess I will drive back Friday night and back up Saturday, two hours away.
Any parking ideas?

Hey guys,
I'll be staying Fri night and attending the Sat races along with a few others. Will I be able to park in the corral if I get the General Admission tix or would I be better off leaving the car at the hotel garage?
