Default removing throttle linkage bearings

I need to remove the bearings from these 3 linkages. There are 2 bearings per linkage. I can easily use some sockets and a vice to press them out but I'm not sure if there is a seat inbetween the bearings. I dont' want to apply any force until I know they'll both slide out.
Anyone BTDT and knows the safest way to pull these? Thanks.

Ben

I used the socket/vise method and it worked great. Rob Edwards did a nice picture/write up procedure but I cannot seen to find it. Make sure your shaft is good, I replaced it as well.

No seats in between on mine. Socket, a vice and some lube did the trick for removal.

Replaced them using the same method as show in Dwayne's flappy bearing section.

No, sending a set of hardware off to be replated and the owner wanted to intall new bearings at that time.

We'll see... Took a bit of digging but I'm optimistic. This outfit only does auto parts for restorations. A few of the other shops I contacted were industial outfits that wouldn't touch the stuff.

After plating use some fine grit to remove some of the plating from the inside, otherwise the bearings will be hard to press in.

Not in the BAP I used.

Didnt have much plating IN the holes..as plating only plates well..where its in line of sight contact with the plating material IIRC.

You may need to cover the ball section where the rod snap into before you plate. I have the linkage replate the the ***** got bigger and my linkage rods won't snap back in. Sanding it cause the rod to jump off when ever it feels like (bad feeling when driving). Buying a set of used one made it safe again but not pretty.
