AFAIK any beater cars (non- p cars too) can enter they just must reside in Ontario, feel free to pass it on.

I think you should cross post this in the Ferrari, Lambo, Maserati forum. Similar type cars. I'm sure their owners will be just as excited to participate.

Try not to flame, 928s do make there way into lemons for "$500 value"
And believe me I was not thrilled about posting this for my wife, but heck there just might be someone out there who has that kind of ride and wants to do this to try to win the $10,000 in upgrades.

I've heard it a few times here "that car is 10 gs away from being a 5g car" lol

Ah is it a destruction derby ? " or $1500 to cover the value of your car, it’s the ultimate sports car elimination derby! " Few here are willing to sell a running, driving 928 for $1,500, fewer still who would enjoy wrecking one. I think one of those $500 Lemons cars recently was for sale for $5,000

It's not a destruction derby, it's a bunch of closed course challenges for both you and the cars. I'll try to get more info on the show and post a few more details.

Also it doesn't have to be a Porsche, but the show would obviously love to have one.

Believe me I understand the rarity of this type of individual/car (especially in Canada), but that's also what makes good tv.

Anyway let's not get our panties in a bunch, no one's being forced onto this show.
It is supposed to be an opportunity, granted it's not a fit for most.

There are several local car shows, Tuesday in Oakville and Wednesday in Burlington.

You may have more luck at some of the local shows than you will have here in getting the word out to potential contestants.

Or a car at the end of it's useful life gets the chance to be a star(as well as it's driver).

Apparently they have some 90s BMWs, they turned down an 80's Benz because it was too nice. (no quirks)

You also get to drive some pretty cool courses.

Also the losing cars do get destroyed in a spectacular fashion.
