Squealing brakes - help needed

I cleaned everything the other day, though I admit I used brake cleaner.... greased the end plates and retied the bedding in process. They are better but still some noise. Bearable at this point. The pads did need filed down so that they would slide in. They still need a light tap with screwdriver handle to get them all the way in. I have the dampers on order and hopefully that will be the final piece to the puzzle.

Are you sure the pistons are retracting all the way? I don't think you should be needing to file anything to "fit".
You may need to look at changing out the rear brake lines to restore proper function if there's an issue.
And you probably want to do the fronts while you're at it, 'cause they're not far behind.
