Unhappy more woes

hello people! need some advice for a newbie. my 87 s4 blew the heater hose, fixed that, but now has a rough to no idle. also has a good amount of grey to black smoke out the tailpipe like it's too rich but smells like burning fibreglass. wtf

Pull the small vacuum line found on each of the fuel pressure dampeners and regulator and check for any trace of fuel in the line. You can rub the open end of the line on your (clean) finger and then sniff for a fuel odor. Replace any unit that is leaking.

While you're back there, you might want to double-check all the vacuum lines and the connections to the FPR and rear damper, in case a line got broken or knocked loose while you were replacing the hose.
