Default Finally, after 24 years...

...from buying a 79 project car, I am posting on the forum for the first time!
Did some work on the 87 project today, intake tubes, plugged the extra holes
in the bottom of the airbox, (unfiltered crap going in...that sucks...), moved the
cable that was jammed under the end of the airbox by the PO mech or someone,
now my throttle pedal moves easy. Next is cam cover seals and gaskets.
Oh, might as well get the covers and intake coated while I'm at it. And good time
to add Greggs fuel lines, too. I want to throw in a thanks to 928 Intl. Mark has
always treated me with goodwill and professionalism, even before he had his
excellent staff! And Ole, I appreciate the PPI, I'll be back!
About time I joined the community here, (and thanks for all the
help, finally...)

if your taking off the cam covers inspect the open cam journals for the updated oil block off pins.

the old parts look like black rubber plugs with a pin sticking out of them you need 5 to do your engine
The new pins are just that , pins
They are about 1 1/2 inches long and held in place by the top of the cam journal cap use loctite 574 to reseal the caps to the head
