Rob, how do you remove the lower rear bolt on the drivers side? I have the same socket and there's no way to get it seated because of the brake booster.

I have one similar to Rob's tool there.
But mine is fitted into the 3/8 drive piece with the six sided (like a picquic screw driver), I put a wrench on this 6 sided piece. I then put it in place and slide a big screwdriver between it and the booster holding it in with a fair bit of force. I then can turn it and ensure it wont strip.

Rob, how do you remove the lower rear bolt on the drivers side?
I remove the engine (sorry, couldn't resist...)

I'd do what Colin said- short 8mm XZN drive tool socket with hex flats on it, turned on those flats and held down/in by levering on the end.

Tell you what, after umptiest time finding something can't be reached because there's something else in the way, today I did wish I had pulled the engine. So much easier. Anyway, looks like I need a bit sized zxn. Ebay here I come! Who would have thought Chinese tools would be good for something.
