Well the best part is spending 18 months on Rennlist and learning the good, the bad and the ugly. And that's just the members!

But seriously, thanks to the kindness of Pete (aka El Greco) I'll be able to get it up on a lift take pictures and video and see what's what pretty quickly. And thanks to WalMart & Amazon I've got darn near every fluid. Thanks to Roger, extra oil plug (magnetic) and 2 block drain plugs, oil filter and crush rings.

Oh and a full set of near pristine Shop Manuals are on their way to me next week along with a set of Roger's service covers.

My hope is we can get all of our Sharks rising with the tide!

Sometimes you do catch the same fish, I mean, Shark twice!

Good luck, Hope she lives up to your expectations
Pick up is tomorrow; expect delivery on Friday at the shop. Wife and son may drive over if it's in the afternoon. Who knows-if they get there early enough maybe they can make the 350 miles by night fall!

Good thing is the gas at the station is amongst the cheapest in the area--and it's Sunoco 94 for Premium!

I'll let everyone know how the delivery goes--they charged me open prices for an enclosed shipment. The broker messed up but she's basically working for no fee-only the driver will be getting paid-but it's someone they use regularly (New Jersey based company).

By the way, my wife is the best-she said to me today: "Am I getting you hoses for Father's Day?" I replied: " Fuel Hoses you mean?" She said: "Yeah."

Beautiful car, Michael, fantastic.

Do remember, though, its just a car. Forget the monies, prepare for the scratches, and enjoy the hell out of it.

I'll fix what needs fixing first. Plan to drive it hard and put it away wet!

Car got picked up at 8:30 this morning...not sure what other drop offs they have scheduled but I am willing to bet they will try to make it early in the morning as the traffic heading east on Long Island will be insane with the official opening of the Hamptons...

Do folks actually wait for the "official" opening?

Early is better, give you more time to plan stuff to do. To the car.
