Good on ya. He'll never forget it and he's the right age to learn how to comport himself in the company of men.

Road trips with my Dad were the berries.

So I guessed right, but that's the nicest hole saw I ever saw. Where'd you get it?

I know I have a 928 because I'd rather drive than fly. ('course, if I had a Pinto ... it'd be the same)

When your 17 year old son declares that you are really cool for having bought a 928.........but later hates you because the insurance policy restricts driver to those who have at least 10 years experience !!

When you are sitting at a light, have a stable deep hum at around 650, 'bout 14v with runners and fogs on, temp to the first line... and you're the only one who knows why your smiling.

When you park it in a spot so that you can keep an eye on it from the restaurant.
When you get pissed when someone makes a ****ty comment about them vs. 911s or how they resemble AMC Pacers.
You know the minute something doesn't sound or feel right while idling or driving.
The first time you feel the Weissach axle really kick in on a hard corner, you smile.
You feel like you've seen a unicorn when you see another 928 in the wild.

I had to google for images. The ones I used from home depot only would last 1 or 2 nuts before getting too dull to cut. Man I hated that day. I tell you another one.

You know you're a 928 owner if..

You have silver anti-seize paste on your shop clothes, a jar in the car, a jar in the toolbox, and a jar in the kitchen under the sink (just in case jar)..

Cheers,

At first I laughed my a** off on this ...then after the reality set in of the meaning of this statement, I almost cried ...then after a minute or two, I shrugged my shoulders and said to myself, "I'm okay with this ".

You know you're a 928 owner if...

The term, "...treated like redheaded stepchild" takes on a whole new meaning

You curse the engineer/designer who came up with the location of the a/c fill connector...probably the same engineer who came up with the ICV location.
