Hey I remember being in that garage with Bill Ball and his S4, along with Sean, Brad and Roger wrestling out that bent set of muffler pipes from a errant piece of road FOD
I think we had to install a shifter cable as well.
Nice garage and the AC works great,
it was a hot humid day in Texas

I remember that adventure too! Bill had managed to suck up a piece of drill pipe while casually cruising across southern new Mexico on the way to OCIC, crushing the exhaust pipe and tearing out the shift cable when it pogo'd up. Dented the floor pan some too. I was part of another caravan across the northern part of the state. We met up at Darien's in the middle of the state, and managed to patch in a piece of 86.5 exhaust to get him to DFW and the show. After the show, on Brad's lift, a more stable temporary fix was made. There were beer cans involved. Bill left early the next morning and did a non-stop to home in the bay area.

It was a great experience except for SeanR, who managed to bump his new paint job with the donor pipe on the way out of his car at Brad's shop. I sometimes wonder if that's the "big assed dent" he mentions in his sig area.

Folks reading and responding to the "places to live" part of this thread need to be aware that the OP posted the question in 2012, over eight (8) (!!!) years ago now. He lists Grapevine, TX as his home now. The thread was unburied by a spam post. and a couple of us took it on a tangent.

Thread closing.
