DFW to Anchorage, Alaska
I'm on my way to Anchorage, Alaska from the DFW area. I've got my 1989 S4 on a trailer. Traveling through the Colorado Springs, Denver, Boulder area tomorrow. Then up to Wyoming, Great Falls, MT., Calgary, Edmonton, Dawson Creek, Beaver Creek, Anchorage, AK. Gerry

Use gasbuddy.com. I just did a long trip and am amazed at the difference in prices for fuel I found along the way. Frex - I was in KC, and was seeing signs for $3.59 or so. I used gasbuddy.com and found a station a mile off the interstate for $3.32. Took on 29 gallons.
Good luck, keep us posted.

Doc; thanks for the Gas Buddy info. I have been using that site for a couple of years, and it is good, as long as people keep updating the prices, which I have found to be very good. I drove DFW to Michigan last month, via Lake of the Ozarks, Galena, Il, La Port, In, Battle Creek, Mi. On the way back, Paducah, Ky, Texarkana, Tx. Hillsboro, Tx. Gas Buddy all the way up, and back.
I was going to drive two of the 928's up to Alaska, 89, and 93 GTS, but decided to go with the 89 only. Taking a 7-8 hour day for the first couple of days, then longer when in Canada. Depending on the weather we may stop to smell the crisp mountain air, check out the lakes, and rivers. Two drivers. Gerry
