Well 'Poseur' or otherwise, I hope to one day paint the calipers on our 968 SY Cab to match the Speed Yellow body color, and install a yet undecided wheel with a coordinating SY paint on it somehow. Still in the thinkin stage at this point, but probably not as much yellow on the wheels as on this 911 Turbo. Perhaps black wheels with a yellow trim on the lip.

For mine, I'd imagine anyone seeing the car would surmise that it was done to match the paint scheme. I doubt a non Porsche person would know that yellow calipers are for the Ceramic brakes & a Porsche person who did know would also know that a 968 wouldn't have them. So someone thinkin less of me or my car for having yellow calipers is of zero concern for me.

For yellow calipers on a red car, you might have to tell them you're a Kansas City Chiefs fan perhaps. I think it might contrast nicely. Its your car, if you want it, do it.

I have to humbly disagree with the poseur comments. If you do it because you like the look, not being a poseur. If you don't do it, even if you want to because some guys on a forum said...well...

It's a Porsche man. If you can't handle bright calipers, you wouldn't be driving this make of car. I say go for it!

I think yellow goes well with black and red body colors IMHO. If you don't like it, its another $8 in caliper paint right

I wouldn't, but it isn't my car. If you like the idea, give it a shot. Easy enough to paint over.

How about Realtree?

Matches the yellow of the license plate. I don't think it looks bad.

For the OP - I generally like the look of red best. You'll paint them red just for me won't ya?

Why not silver? It is totally unexpected.

I think what you need to do is go with what YOU realy want.
You want yellow, so go for it.

I was in the same situation last year and went with my first idea witch was red.
Never regretted it.
