Ok well not that sexy, but i wanted some input on taping up the my car while its on a trailer going cross country. anyone have any experience with that? or any other/better ideas?

 

I towed my race car on an open trailer to tracks around the country here in Australia, and I used to shrink wrap the whole car before long trips to stop bugs, dirt and water getting into coolers and ducts, and wrecking the paint ... worked like a charm.

Trucking companies use large shrink bags to cover pallets and other big freight items not in containers, and for protection on ship decks.

I used to just put the shrink bag over the car and wave a heat gun over it and it would shrink onto the car nice and tight and not move at all in transit .... try a big trucking or shipping company. You could use a pallet size one for just the nose.
