Default AC/C question? Blower resistor

Did some searching and couldn't figure if I have MBS or not. As soon as I turn on the AC, the blower operates on high at all settings. Is this the resistor or something else?

It is either the resistors thermal bypass engaged all the time or the DEF relay stuck on.

If you pull the DEF relay you will know which.

It is certainly most likely the resistor pack thermal bypass.

On the resistor pack (unplug car loom) if you have ~0 ohms between pins 8 & Pin 6 the thermal bypass switch is stuck on. (= MBS symptom without the 'magic' on/off part)

Thanks
That is what I was figuring. Just wanted to confirm before digging into things.
