Wow WoW Weeeeee

Rub Strips from the factory

KUDOS MALCOM

Believe me when I a say I am so jealous ( Hooked On Cars is truly right ).

Oh BTW: Where we you headed next? Dont be surprised if the next day you car is missing rub strips and your key does not work. That would mean I found a way to swap your GTS with mine.... I will leave GTS unlock and the keys to your new GTS under the drivers floormat.

Oh then I would have to swap the VIN tags so I can bring it back to CA.

See its a great plan...no one will know.

I am SURE you prefer a non rub strip GTS.

Please please say yes
To a trade...
I will even trade yah with a full tank of gas

Well bought Malcom

Steve wishing for a rub striped GTS....just like Malcom's

I'm happy for you, Malcolm. I know you've been looking to get a manual for some time now. Congrats, man.

thx Dude.

I have indeed been searching for some time and came close to a few cars but for whatever reason they didnt happen including 2 GTs.

This GTS is prime, is a Canadian car and was at a price I could consider without going up to the +$60k range. If I could have factory ordered the car it wouldnt have a sunroof or rub strips but it is what it is.

Montreal is a very cosmopolitan city and the looks the car attracted when cruisin downtown were numerous and very enjoyable.

thx for all the comments. The car will be at the 928OC gathering in Kansas.

Just a thought I was advice by many that buying a 928 from Canada and bringing in to CA is nightmare. I was quoted to plan on an additional 5~6k. Above the purchase price to obtain all docs necessary in bringing it in. Then it goes to a smog referee in CA to re-certify it and have a special smog decal placed on the car.

Just curious in case another gem shows up in Canada.
Than you
Steve

I AGREE ! I TOO would have wanted a GTS w/ no sunroof.
If only I had $$$ in 93~95.

You got a keeper the flyn' scotsman. ! ! !

Oh btw: your cousin w/o rub strip, but with sunroof is waiting for you :0)
