FS:Faux Ostrich skin vinyl (caramel/toffee in colour)
Hi All
Like many, i am doing some spring cleaning.
Under my cutting table(i do upholstery work), i found a remnant roll of Faux Ostrich skin vinyl.I have just over 8 yds of it(288"X54"), it is about 6 years old is in excellent condition.
It is NOT auto upholstery, but it is very high quality vinyl.Perhaps Paul or Robert could chime in here to comment on its suitability for a 928 interior...Almost certainly is not cold resistant by design, so a warm climate would be best(or at least a heated garage).
This could look much like Paul's superb interior if done with the same attention to detail.
$12.00 per yard plus shipping of course if interested.
I could mail out a sample if required
Cheers,
Adrian

Might make cool side pockets in a tan car (Door pocket inserts).
Considering I saw one (a 928) with horrible DKNY , YSL or LV or something with alphabets it would be an upgrade for some.

I do not remember what mill i purchased it from, i just had a look for the original sample book to see if i could find the specs and the supplier, but i'm afraid the sample book has been discontinued and therefore was discarded. All i can tell you is that IIRC it was right around the $50-$60 dollar mark at retail, which is a fair bit more than most average vinyls.
Sorry i don't have this info
