Default 044 Pump Fuel Tank Strainer Kits

This is the entire kit to replace the stock fuel strainer on any 928 when upgrading to the Bosch 044 pump.

You can use the stock hose (from a non in-tank pump) on the Murf strainer for a future 044 pump installation.

$175 each, shipping in U.S. included. I only have a few right now ready to ship. PM or email me if interested tmurphy@new.rr.com

No, it will not. I could come up with a reducer fitting to make the transition but if you are not running the 044 pump then I would suggest saving some money and use the stock strainer.

So the nipple and hose are of a larger diameter? Is that aluminum or stainless?

The factory hose has different sizes on each end.

Ok, caliper in hand -

Stock tank strainer nipple: 14mm
Stock strainer with in-tank pump: 12mm
Stock fuel pump: 12.30mm

Murf 928 044 Pump Fuel Tank Strainer Kit:
15.88mm on hose and all connections.

The 044 pump fitting is steel
The tank fitting is aluminum with a stainless mesh strainer
The hose is Aeroquip FC647-10
The clamps are stainless made by Norma
The support spring looks to be chrome plated steel made by GoodYear
The square sealing ring is buna-n

If you are just deleting the in-tank pump you can use the stock Porsche hose.

You have to buy the hose for a car without the in-tank pump.

I just tried a used stock hose from a car without the in-tank pump and it does go on my new fittings on either end.
I have not tried a new hose but I suspect you could stretch that one on as well. My new hose will not fit either end of a stock setup.

I installed my kit a few weeks ago. Nice piece of equipment Tim thx for all the hard work!

If you're running a SCer I'd recommend this add on!

How about on the OB's? Mine is. 78, and has a different size hub...the factory strainer is NLA, and the replacement now available wont fit.
