Towing an auto trans
Is it ok to tow a 928 with a tow rope hooked to the front eye? This would only be for short distance. I know there is no problem with doing this with a 5-speed but was wondering about an automatic. Any problems with putting the auto in neutral and towing it?

Not really recommended but in the owners manual it does say can be done at low speed for very short distance if absolutely unavoidable. If there is much of a car there it is worth getting it flatbedded or getting the rear wheels up on a tow dolly. Depending on the year you can remove the rear axles on early cars.
