Default Clutch differences.....

with all the clutch talk going on, i got to thinking.

what are the pros and cons between a Dual disk, and a single disk?
from what i gather, Duals are smaller, spin up faster , singles are cheaper, but bigger....

should one ditch the duals for the new shiny parts that just came out?
just some thoughts, to questions i had....

Dual all the way.......yes they are harder to adjust and keep adjusted...BUT they are stronger and hold more power....20lbs lighter too

The single GTS clutch in the widow when I 1st got it lasted exactly 6 track days before it was smoked....2850lbs with 335's in the rear at 300whp......about 10 hours on track and it was toast....

My opinion....anything under 300ftls....the stock dual disk is fine.....above that to say 400ftlbs....the stock with increased pressure plate will work....above that....talk to Doc Brown
