sorry, I know only of a couple of places close to NYC and one in CT... Maybe get in touch with a local PCA chapter and see if they would recommend anyone - prob a 911 shop, but at least you can go and talk to a mechanic and see if he knows anything about 928s.

there is a decent place in Buffalo. Do a search to find the name. I used to live there, but can't remember it now.

CDI in Victor used to have some 928 knowledge, not sure how current their guys are.

That's the 3rd or fourth time ive heard cdi mentioned, but I can't get them to return calls or emails.. business must be good I guess..

Mostly just wet areas in motor, need some knowledgeable eyes on it, would make me feel a lot better.

Sorry forgot.. its a 1978 euro 5 speed, low miles. Stock from what I see..

CDI imports in Victor NY. they are excellent on 928's and they do a quality job. I bring them all my work i cant find time to do. clutch last year and a transmission issue 2 years ago. Scott is the service manager and has been working on imports for a long time.

Good to hear they've got recent experience there. My father has all his bmw, audi and 930 work done there.

I've had good luck with Ekstens Autoworks, they service many 911s & 944s, could call on a 928.
