Forgive me, but you posted a picture of one small part of one tire, asking for opinions. That small part of that one tire looks scuffed. But if you want informed opinions, you need to inform.

Does the whole tire look like that? Or just one part of it? What does the rest of the tread look like?

How does the other tire look? Same, or different?

And as to the other topic, please remember that there are some folks here who actually know quite a bit about cars and stuff. It's sometimes hard to tell from their online persona, we don't get much background info here. Me, I know nothing. Jeff does, I think. Let me suggest a simple "thanks" and then move on, it saves a lot of grief.

This is how BS stories get started. Once posted on an intenet forum it's a fact for the world to see.

 

It's a lot easier on the ego to lay blame upon the car rather than upon the driver.

 

Jim, it's just that small spot on each tire. The rest of the tires are fine.

As I mentioned, I looked at them again and they don't feel like they have any flat spots.
