Is there an alternative to the lenses below for a US80 ? Euro maybe ? Appearance being the priority here, don't drive much at night. Suggestions and pics appreciated. TIA. T

 

Euro driving/fog lights and lenses. On mine the fog lights come on when the brights are on. PO did it, don't know the procedure but pretty cool. Lenses are pricey if you can find them.

You can't use the glass Euro lenses on a US driving light as they are smaller by about 1/2".

 

You need to change the housing and the black trim frame to the Euro lights to have all glass lens. You also get a real driving light, not a position indicator light.

 

That does look better and would now have real driving lights. Anyone have the P/N's for both l&r euro housings, and l&r euro black frame surrounds ? Or, does anyone have these items for sale ? TIA. T

 

This should be up there as a top upgrade for all US 16V's along with H5's and better exhaust.

Check with Mark Benton at mark@theninesource.com. He may have the housings but I think I cleaned him out on lenses and trim pieces. 928 Specialists has the lenses for $130 each.

 

Years ago someone ahs replaced the S4 driving lights with ones from a Silverado. Thats' all I can remember.

 

I think I have seen that car and it looked like dooky. Last I saw of that car it was in pieces in a garage. The owner and his wife had divorced and she still had the car. I talked to her about it but she seemed to be more interested in me than my pursuit of the car. I decided to let it sit for a while before I talked to her about the car again.

 

Unfortunately Mark Benton appears to be just about kapootz with the used part biz. Looking for the whole setup: euro housings, lenses, and surrounds. Already bought a set of new 8" H4's from Roger. T

Not sure you can mount the euro lens onto the US housing.
