I just noticed that the Drivers door rear view mirror on my Strosek is operating in the opposite direction when I use the button to adjust it.

When I press the switch up the mirror moves down. When I press down it goes up. And left is right, and right becomes left.

To make things more interesting on the passengerdoor mirror it all operates correctly.

Any ideas?

Someone installed it wrong - needs some wiring swapped. is it a stock Porsche movement inside.

Yes, Stock Porsche (Early Type) internals.....

Found the fault. Im now an Dipl. Ing. in early type rear view mirrow movement. Took the thing apart and measured all the wires during operation.

Had to swap the Blue and Black wire (these powes the motor) in the connector. All perfect now.
