Default Porsche 928: the ultimate Tech Support Vehicle

I'm just sitting here in my 928 in the parking lot of my daughter's track meet logged into work on my laptop and covering tech support.

Pretty comfy I must say, much more so than my office chair, and the breeze is beautiful.

I have a towel up across the window to cut down the glare and people are walking by and staring as if I'm some perv doing something illegal or worse with my laptop.

When I'm done for the day it's going to turn into the Ultimate Pizza Delivery Vehicle, at least to my house.

Only in Spring & Summer, my 928 is the Ultimate Athlete Transport Vehicle. For daughter (sophomore at 6'1"), transports her to track meets/practices. Holds her bag nicely in the rear, and 'sorry can't take you' for will put the seats down - good bonding time. For son, transports him to spring/summer AAA hockey. Again gear in the back, and no guests. Good hang time with son.
At other times is the Ultimate Physician Decompression Vehicle.

Edit: I know it's OT ish, and not technical.

The 928; So many uses and such little time left to try everything I am sure it can do.

You should see the looks I get when loading mulch into the back end.

The guy at Home Depot about S&%t a brick when I fit a (5) drawer roll around tool box in it.

Not to mention the track wheels and tools I can fit when headed to the track. Who needs a tow vehicle when I can fit my floor jack, stands, two toolboxes, a set of (4) 17" track wheels, helmet, case of water (or beer), bag for two nights sleep, and misc fluids and extra tools.

And I can still enter a concours if I need to....

I know. I can fit a stuffed hockey gear bag, overnight bag for us, pretty large skate sharpener for weekend tourns, and 2 sticks (they lay on the bottom and the blades face down on each side by the bin between the seats).

I remember seeing a picture on a forum where someone hauled a refrigerator or dryer/washer in the back of their 928.

What can't this car do?!

I have always dreaded the "3AM call" to drive to our colo in Sacramento, CA... Until I got my shark. Now, I'm taking all the "server down" tickets. Besides, the hatch back is PERFECT for those rackmount cases. If only the god damn CHP's will get the hell out of my way...
