Default New Product FS--Cowl Cover with Sticker(s) and Seal

I have finished the development and now a little production of the new fangled Cowl Cover that I have been working on since before Xmas. I have made two versions of the cover, one that is for the S4 and GT cars with the intensive WS washer provision and one for the others without. I also have had the Shell Stickers replicated in four forms true to the respective periods for the 928 (and perhaps many others also), and the WS washer sticker about the silicone stuff.

My new Cowl Covers are made out of ABS plastic and are about twice as thick as the originals. They have the usual small pebble finish to the outside. My Covers fit, and they are redesigned to function as I think they are intended to. They have a closed cell seal in the back which will be next to the metal cowl strip just below the windshield.

My New Covers are not an exact duplicate of the originals but the are pretty close replicas, except for the one version that I made to exclude the provision for the WS washer bottle, which the originals never did.

My prices are as follows:

Basic Cowl Cover $70
Cowl Seal (with the cover) $15
Shell and washer stickers (with the Cover) $5 each

Shipping and handling is:
Lower 48 $20
Alaska and Canada $30
Rest of the world (most anyway) $45

The stickers and Cowl Seal are available seperately at $7 and $20 respectively plus mailing. Stickers $1.50 and Seal $12.

If you are not sure what you want give me a call or send me an email or PM and we can talk about it. I will help you figure out what you will need for your particular MY 928.

You may not notice, but the stickers in the two covers in the pictures are not the same, and are period correct for the S4/GT and then for the GTS. Can you tell the differences? I have reproduced the two earlier versions of the Shell stickers also, but the one I got from the sign guy have an error in them. When I get them replaced I'll post a picture of those also.

I think my Cowl Covers are suitable for all the earlier cars also and will suggest the versdion that down not have the washer cutout. We may need to figure out a way to hang the back of my covers in the 78 to 82 cars because I am not sure they have the tabs back there for the cowl cover.

You can pay for these by PayPal or send me a check or money order. The paypal is to my email address below.

Default Shell Stickers

Here is a picture of the stickers I had made to replicate the originals. The two earliest ones have an error in them so I am having them done over. Can you find the mistake? Sorry about the glare.

Thanks everyone for the compliments.

Nice work there Jerry,
if these are anything like the excellent quality of the tire covers and they look better than the originals watch out,
Porsche may come to your for replacement stock.
Nice job on the stickers

Jerry - paypal sent for the Seal.

The cowl looks great too - but my current stock one (#2) is in perfect shape.

Can you give me an idea about how much thicker & more rigid the new cowl is? (compared to stock late version).

I'm considering mouting something to the cowl (voltmeter, ammeter, switch & indicators) - if its substantially thicker or if you could make one custom as substantially thicker (>$ is OK)?

Anyway - I'll start with the seal which I certainly need either way.

Fantastic work Jerry!

The one without provision for the washer, does it have the necessary clearance for the wiper mechanism (on the earlier cars).

I believe the reason the early cowls are cut short is because of the wiper mech. Clearly, one could just cut your piece to match the original. Just curious if that is necessary or not. Thanks!
