Nicole, I prefer unique. The 928 are just that but Im taking it a step further. My opinion what you drive says a great deal about who you are. Im not really worried about cost and resale value as Im building this car for me. I like unique looks and extreme performance, for what Im planning on doing I know it will cost quite a bit. It will take a while to build the way I want it but thats what Im willing to sacrafice to get what I want. Flush windows would be cool, just not my thing though.

STVRacing, I tried to send you a message but you cannot recieve PM's. I have a body kit available and I have the rear bumper cover with dual exhaust as well. I will have a completed car to show in about a month or so. Send me a message if you have any interest.

I like the dual center exhaust pipes. Does anyone know how they are routing the pipes? I looked under my 83S and with the battery box and fuel tank, theres not any room to tuck those pipes in there. I would love to see any underside pics of the dual exhaust setups. Please post if you have any. Thanks

That's wild - never seen anything like that before.

Talk about a huge blind spot though.

There is a dual left/right setup available out there. It might be supersprint for the exhaust...trying to remember.
The fascia is just modified IIRC.

Here it is:

there is a white S4 on here that has a dual l/r setup.

Most custom rear caps are fiberglass so you take out the inner alloy crash bumper and shocks (since they no longer function) then you have room for plumbing the exhaust, single pipe just two outlets like most of the "dual exhausts" you see on so many new cars today.

Fred Clarke's Gemballa 928 (at 2000 OCIC) had dual exhaust outlets. Looking under the bumper, I found that it was indeed just a single pipe, but with two outlets.

My concern would be the gasoline vent tube thingy which exits (open end pointing down) in the center of the rear bumper area (not sure if all years). However, that could probably be re-routed.

Some possible options for dual exhaust routing:

* Chop & shift battery box upwards (loses spare tire space, and messes slightly with CG).
* Modify or replace the alloy crash bumper to allow exhaust routing but keep the connections between the mount points.
* Do it like Louie (Ott - just straight out the back under everything, including the bumper) - gives a very direct outlet.
