Does anyone have a part number for the rubber infills that fit either end of the windshield. I,ve read somewhere on here that they can be retro fitted to earlier models to fill the gap, but don,t know details etc ?
Or are these fillers only fitted to a new screen ?

They are also used on the '90's not just GTS, don't know the part number. They would not be to hard to make up from a soft rubber, they just fill the gap.

.., thanks Dave I never knew that , I also had thought about making some, but if they were a reasonable price I,d buy some.
The parts guy at my local OPC said if I can get the number he,d check them out for me.

Many thank,s Sean and Rob, spot on, my local OPC parts man has just emailed me pet pics, and that is the number he,s just found ., 928 559 519 00 70c ( black water drain strip windscreen)
He,s getting a price tomorrow for me as they,re closed now. 6 PM here.

.. I think they fit all, as the screen configuration is all the same, and as Dave has said they were also fitted on the 90 GT same body shell as normal s4

The only way they fit is to put GTS trim on it.
I did it to my car.

My 91 GT has them. I don't remember if my 90S4 has them or not.

Pretty sure my 90GT does not have them. PET says they start in '91.

.., is that because of the triangular shaped peices that fit into the top corners of the screen, all I want is to fill the gap, no gap in top corners on mine ?

Yes, they wont fit at the top IIRC.
I really see no reason to change them unless you have to, I can tell zero difference in the S4 and GTS setup as far as the windshield goes.
Mine were damaged or I would not have changed them.

..., the only real reason was to tidy up what to me always looked like something was missing, it,s not the first time someone has said to me when admiring the car, "is there somehing adrift with the screen surround" I say no, they,re all like that .
